Odyssey Educational Trust a small and friendly organisation with excellent capacity for support, a proven track record of school improvement and school to school support. Our original founding school, Humberstone Junior Academy is a national support school and has a long and proven track record of school to school support in Leicester City and beyond led by our CEO, who is a National leader of Education and supported ably by Specialist Leaders of Education across a range of subjects. We have particular expertise in curriculum development and leadership.
As a small and creative organisation, we particularly value the uniqueness of schools’ identity which reflect their communities. We offer a model of delegation whereby schools are encouraged to develop and lead their own curriculum, manage their own budgets and to protect their identity and name.
Odyssey Trust holds sponsorship status and is open to conversations from schools who are interested in exploring sponsorship and joining a Trust. We are a values based organisation and uphold the values of Excellence, Respect, Positivity, Resilience and Creativity in all that we do. Our MAT Board is dedicated to the Nolan Principles of public life.
